I’m an audio producer with over seven years experience making radio shows, podcasts and other listening experiences. My background was originally in specialist music radio for the BBC but I now work predominantly in speech-based podcasting, with a particular focus on creative, sound-rich productions featuring unusual stories or people.
– Nominee: Best Podcast Producer, Audio Production Awards 2018
– Let’s Eat (The Guardian) was shortlisted for Best Radio Programme or Podcast at the 2018 Fortnum & Mason Food And Drink Awards.
– Awarded a two week residency as part of the 2019 HearSay International Audio Arts Festival in Kilfinane, Ireland to produce an installation around eating alone.
What I can do for you
I’m open to exciting new audio projects: if you’re looking for a producer or editor please get in touch. I also offer podcast consultancy at competitive rates, so feel free to drop me a line if you’re not quite ready to make something but already have ideas you’re keen to develop.
Food is a primary field of interest for me! I also love 20th century architecture (in various forms, but mostly concrete), swimming in Charlton Lido and reading.
If you’d like to hear some examples of what I make, here’s my 2018 audio portfolio (there’s a tracklist of clips on the Soundcloud page if you click through.)
Hear The Paternoster, for the Our Fave Places exhibition One Hundred Views Of The Arts Tower in Sheffield. (Co-produced with Lucy Ryan, edited and mixed by me.)
